Ideas and Responses

For Ideas and Responses I decided to make a respond to some of my favorite Logo's. The first image is a picture of a "NIKE" swoosh and a photo of a lady beside it. The lady beside the logo is the one who actually design the Nike swoosh back in 1971. Why i like this brand its because

For Creative History class our group came up with an idea thats relates to us so we decided to use the word Peace as our heading "Increasing the Peace" There were five of us and what we planned is to create the word PEACE so each of us gets each letter of the word peace using different style, screen printing, tattooing, drawing and painting, My letter was 'A' screen printing on paper. and so we went to Otara shopping centre and get some people to take photos with our "Increase the Peace" sign as you'll can see on the last photo. Why we chose Increasing the Peace as our heading? to us is that we're trying to make more or fighting against gangs so what exactly we did is to explore the word "PEACE"

These artworks is from Sam Mitchell it inspire me to her work of how he uses patterns adding to portraits of people.. first image of a woman's portrait he added flowers with leaves and a snake and the colours he uses i really like the patterns for the hair.

The second image is an image of a boy, in this image it has a lots of details of people, flowers, patterns with different colours thats fills the whole portrait.

This is my response to the stop eating animal sign, I changed it to "STOP JUDGING OTHERS" I thought this could be a good way for my Stop sign.

What I think about this artwork was made with spray cans (spay paint) and with stencil using tape to creates those white and blue lines that kinda look like a maze I reckon its a pretty creative work using two colour and the idea to it is amazing work .

This unexpected art work is cool to me I think it is creative how the artist added the ( eating animal) to this stop sign that creates a sentence. I think it is a good response to those who eats meats. :D

What I think about this art work is printing and it is amazing how this beautiful Maori designs of a marae, kiwi bird and tikis on a plastic bag.
