Title: My House
Artist: Christopher Wool
Size: 102 x 76 cm

This screen print was done by Christopher Wool and is called "My House."  I think Wool made this piece for people who don't like his artworks.

What I like about this print, is how Wool used 7 colours to reprint the same sentence over and over again.  As you can see, it looks  like a 3D poster with the way he used the blue, red and yellow.  I also like how he managed to create an effect where it looks like there are shadows.  I think this makes the print look cool and more unique. The 7 colours have been printed separately in order the first colour is  blue, yellow, red, black and for the background was printed in blue and yellow that makes the green colour some of colours were mixed like yellow and red that makes the orange.

Title: unknown
Artist: Frances Hodgkins

This painting is from Frances Hodgkins, one of New Zealand's best regarded expatriate painter.
what i like about this painting is how the artist uses her techniques of how the colours are like shading with brush strokes but what i really like about this painting its the colours of how she uses three or four colours and the shadow affects which is light capture.

Title: Unknown
Artist: Stephen Allwood

this amazing painting was by Stephen Allwood. What i like about this painting is how he uses the colours of those blue paint coming down like rain but what i really liked is how he uses the light capture as you can see the shadows are where the eyes are but then the light capture where the nose and mouth are so its a really amazing painting.

This is a portrait of my friend, Moa painted by me.
This is one of my favourite paintings because I did felt it turned out well
and I managed to get a good likeness.

Title: Leo Bensemann

Materials: Oil paint ,Canvas
Classification: Painting

This painting is from one New Zealands famous artist Rita Angus its a portrait of Leo Bensemann called "Monobrow"

What i like about this painting is how the artist paint it of how smooth it looks the colours and the background.

To my respond to this painting I called it " Three years later" because Ive added a mustache on it and ive changed the colours and added some more mountains on the background with diferent colours so that it would be different from the main painting.
